Sura Kees

A gourmet product of the new alpine cuisine. It's official since 2005! The traditional cheese of the Montafon - Sura Kees - was included in the catalog of the Genussregion Österreich as a special gourmet product of the new alpine cuisine. Yet another reason to try the famous Vorarlberg Käsknöpfle with the Montafon cheese mixture and Sura Kees. The traditional Montafon cheese is a special low-fat cheese and is therefore particularly digestible and low in fat. The mildly aromatic flavor, which becomes slightly spicy to mildly sour with age, is part of the culinary enjoyment in your vacation region of Gargellen, Montafon. In summer, we obtain the Sura Kees directly from one of the Gargellen Alps.
